Julia Himmel

Julia Himmel is passionate about helping journalists tell great stories. Before joining the newsroom’s data and graphics team, she worked as a senior product designer on Industry Dive’s product team, improving article pages and creating new journalism products. Prior to Industry Dive, she worked at a journalism startup, where she helped launch nearly a dozen independent newsrooms and created a tool to promote news literacy. She has a B.A. in art history from Columbia University.
